Simply put, Grand Projections and its owner Steve Miller,
are absolutely exceptional and I cannot recommend them enough. We are in the
final stages of finishing a one year long, $350,000 whole house remodel that
completely gutted a 3700 square foot 1976 rambler in St. Paul. I am an IT
Manager so in our remodel I over designed the house for all technologies,
including all room whole house cabling, internet and phone connectivity, multi
room satellite and DVRs, whole house audio, two media rooms and sound and video
in almost every room of the house including multiple outdoor areas. Prior to
beginning our project we initially met and received bids from four contractors,
including Best Buys Contractor Home/Audio division. Not only was Grand
Projections exceptionally competitive, but the products and services they
provided were top notch versus some of the bargain basement, budget items and
simply incorrect and bad advice that others had specified. And for those of
you considering Best Buy for your home theater projects and comparing their
service and knowledge, its not even a comparison. It would be like comparing a
Dr. Seuss book (Best Buy) to the Encyclopedia Britannica (Grand Projections).
Steve is an absolute wealth of knowledge and if he does not know an answer he
will be honest and tell you so, but he will immediately research the question
and find the answer.
I am also very aware that I am a difficult customer. I
micro manage projects and am meticulous to detail to a flaw (ask my wife, I
drive her crazy some days), but when I am done, I know I have what I want, the
way I wanted it. Steve was a trooper all the way through our project. He
spent many nights talking with me and discussing strategies on putting things
together and also many emails answering my questions. I do not want to give
the impression that you will have to be directly involved in the job if you do
not want to be. Steve is more than capable of handling projects on his own,
but if you are like me and you wish to be involved, then Grand Projections is
the place for you.
So if you are looking for a company that truly provides
accurate and intelligent knowledge, well thought out designs and advice,
excellent and timely service, quality products, competitive prices and a
locally owned small business where the owner is invested in his business, then
Grand Projections and Steve Miller are your choice.

wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for the great job you did
moving antenna jacks, power outlets, and installing our home theater
system. I have had some experience trying to do those tasks in the
past, and that only adds to my appreciation for your work.
From
your thorough assessment of the work that needed to be done to the
careful final clean-up your work was first rate. I appreciated you
careful consideration of possible complications, clear communication of
potential costs and advantages and disadvantages of several separate
strategies.
Most
appreciated was your careful draping of clothes in the closet,
protection of any furnishings that might have been in your way. That
has been the greatest irritation in the past to any service people
being in our living space.
